Little did I know last nite going to meet some friends at the Farmers Market next to the Grove in Los Angeles that I was in for such a treat! The annual Rochambo or Rock, paper, scissors for us not in the know contest was on!!!
I’ve never seen people so excited (and frankly never been so excited!) about this game but alas I was eliminated in the first round. My fav contestant by far – the guy wearing the “i’m throwing rocks” sign. For those who doubted him, he proclaimed he would never throw anything but a rock and by this manifesto he stood… and unfortunately lost.
I’m sorry for the baby who was forced by his baby daddy to play. Good job on the rocks though kid.
In the end, the finalists were Andrea vs. Andrea. The proud (and winning) Andrea can be seen below flaunting her trophy.
For those of you who doubt the seriousness of ‘the game’ and those who love it, check out the USA Rock Paper Scissors League and the World RPS Society. I Kid. You. Not.
